Stand-up comedy Munich is a young scene. It’s also a booming one.

A few years back, it barely existed. A couple of German and English open mics, small rooms, five-minute sets. That was it.

Now Munich has two full-time German-language comedy clubs running shows night after night.

THE ENGLISH SCENE FINALLY GETS ITS OWN CLUB

English stand-up took longer to get there. Since October 2025, it has.

The Jungle Comedy Club opened as Munich’s first full-time English comedy club, founded by two comedians who’d each spent over four years in both the English and German scenes here.

And from October 2026, The Jungle Comedy Club moves into its new venue, one of the most professional, high-level comedy clubs in the country.
